Style has changed... and not for the better
I have seen Jack Harlow 3 times. His solo acoustic act was captivating. The first was when he opened for Norah Jones in '04(?). His vocals lacked enthusiasm (very monotone) when he performed with his 2 piece "band". The most recent performance was disappointing. He's changed his overall style both in appearance and music - glasses, blazer, dress pants and clean shaven... I saw him a few years ago at 20th Century and it was a good performance, but seemed to lack something. When the band left the stage and Amos was back to being solo, he seemed to come out of his shell and the audience got to experience the raw style of Amos that I fell in love with years ago. Little interaction with the crowd and what little he did have, he came across arrogant. He seemed much more down to earth with his scruffy beard, t-shirt and jeans... He seemed to loosen up a bit throughout the concert, but I still feel that something has changed with him.
